Lockwood has been a professional barber in Charlotte for more than 5 years. He is the owner of HCP Hair Company. As a native of Philadelphia, Lockwood was introduced to the barbering industry by working in his mother’s basement salon. He perfected his craftsmanship and skills to become a different type of barber by delivering consistency, high quality, and great service. He is often referred to by clients as a master barber, who understands customer satisfaction, and delivers the ultimate cut experience and specializes in all cuts and styles.



In an age where traditional barber shops are few and far between, James has recently joined HCP Hair Company. Originally from Camden, New Jersey, James is now a Charlotte native with 7 years of experience in the hair industry. He captures the right look for you, all while providing the ultimate cut experience. James has the edge that we look for when it comes to giving great service, relaxing facial treatments, and understanding customer satisfaction by providing service that results in consistency, high quality, and great service.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 2 hours’ notice is required to cancel any appointment. No-show appointments or late notice cancellations are charged for the cost of the missed scheduled services.

Late Arrivals

If you are more than 10 minutes late without contacting us, your appointment will be modified or rescheduled. We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscious effort to avoid long waiting periods. If time is critical to your schedule on a particular day, please let us know about your schedule when you schedule your appointment.


You’re always welcome to walk into our shop for any of our services, but please be aware that if your arrival is not convenient with our scheduled appointments, you may have a lengthy wait or be asked to schedule an actual appointment.
